Over the last few weeks, Year 3 have been learning about Forces in their Science lessons.
This week, the children looked at the different uses of magnets in real-life situations and investigated where the strength of a magnet was important.
They investigated the mass a magnet could hold as this would be useful in a scrap yard and the distance at which a magnet attracted magnetic metals for the use in a recycling centre.
Here are some of the children from 3X and 3F using horseshoe magnets, bar magnets and wand magnets for their investigation.
